NiteLite stores some data locally on your phone so that the app can work as intended. Examples include:

• Sleep-related settings (fall-asleep time, preferred techniques, etc.)

• Optional notes or journal entries you create in the app

This information is saved in local storage (for example, shared preferences and/or a local database) and is not automatically uploaded to any server managed by us.

By default, NiteLite does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information like your name or email through the app interface.

• Crash reports & diagnostics (via Google Play or your device): Depending on your device settings, anonymised crash logs and basic technical information (device model, OS version) may be shared with Google and developers to improve stability.
• Support emails: If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send (for example, your email address and the content of your message) and will only use it to respond to your request.

4. Permissions used by the app

NiteLite may request the following Android permissions, depending on your device and OS version:

• Alarm & exact alarm permission – to schedule precise wake-up alarms for your night sessions.
• Foreground service / wake lock – to keep certain features working reliably while the screen is off.
• Notification permission – to show alarm notifications and session reminders.
• Audio / media – to play sounds such as alarms or background audio inside the app.

These permissions are used only to provide the described functionality. You can manage them in your Android system settings at any time.

5. Third-party services

The app may be distributed through third-party platforms (such as Google Play). Those platforms may independently collect usage data according to their own privacy policies.

The website lucidnite.com itself is currently a simple informational site and does not intentionally use cookies or tracking scripts maintained by us. However, server logs may record technical information such as:
